Yesterday afternoon I attended (at Sephora in Ermou) the Make up rehearsal for the Celebrity Skin runway show that will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Athens Xclusive Designers Week on the 1st of April. The make up was done by Emmanouil Apostolakis, Head Make up Artist for Make up Forever in Greece. For me the process was especially interesting, because as most of you know I'm a Make up Artist myself.
The concept for the make up is pale skin and nude lips with intense, graphic eyeliner. The look is complete with Celebrity skin's beautiful masks-beanies, which accentuate the dramatic eyes and create an edgy, almost gothic style!
Το μακιγιάζ επιμελήθηκε ο επικεφαλής Make up artist της Make Up Forever στην Ελλάδα, Εμμανουήλ Αποστολάκης.

Here's the process step by step:

Starting with MUFE's Face and Body fountation
Ξεκινά με το Face and Body fountation της MUFE

On to the eyes to create the graphic eyeliner

Tools of the trade!

Adding some matte white eyeshadow

Nude but creamy lipstick
Adding dark contouring to the jaw line and neck

And some brown eyeshadow to set the contouring

The finished look! Celebrity Skin designer Dimitris Strepkos with his model.

And moi with the model!
I loved the finished result and I can't wait to see it on the runway with Celebrity Skin's "Pure Evil" collection!

Hello my lovelies!

I've uploaded this quick OOTD on my Greek youtube channel, but since there's no talking, you can all watch it! On Saturday morning I got dressed to go to a fashion event, but there were riots at the centre of Athens and the metro wouldn't stop there. So I had to return home and I just did this quick video to show you what I was wearing.
The shirt I'm wearing is from Monki, the leggings from Zara, the fake fur is from a Greek brand (Victoria Kyriakides) and the booties from ASOS. Accessories are from Gofavor, ASOS and a Greek store called JOOLS.
Oh, and there is a very cute visitor doing a Cameo appearance on my video, lol!

Please leave your comments and let me know if you'd like more OOTDs.

Last week, before my amazing trip to London, I visited the LEVI'S showroom in Athens for something that I will reveal soon in another blog post. While I was there, I had the chance to see up close and try on a few of the pieces from the SS 2013 collection!

The Spring Summer collection was inspired by India, but not in an obvious, ethnic - boho kind of way. You can see the inspiration in the colors, in the materials and the designs. I loved the floral dresses and the classic, but always trendy cut off shorts.

I wore a white top and a lovely pair of denim pants, which looks white in the photos, but it's actually a very light pastel green-ish color. I also tried on a beautiful red jacket, with a floral lining on the inside.

I can't wait for the collection to hit the stores (which will be very soon)! You can Like the Levi's fb page here for updates and news on the collections and the Brand.

See you soon with another Levi's post...(so stay tuned)!

Last night I attended an event in Kolonaki at the TR2 concept store, where a special diffusion line curated by Michael Pantos was presented. The line consists of eight fashion items designed by Sotiris Georgiou, Chris P, Dimitris Petrou, Katerina Psoma and Stathis Samantas and of course Studio TR2.

Last Wednesday, I was invited to attend Levi’s press event for the presentation of their fall collection for 2012. It was a hot summer night and I have to admit I was not so eager to leave my sweet - air conditioned - home, but I’m glad I did! The event was held at Balthasar bar-restaurant, a lovely neoclassical building with a beautiful garden.
The fall collection consists of jeans, plaid shirts, denim jackets, T-shirts and lots of casual clothing, but not just that. There are colored jeans for men, lovely denim dresses for women and tops and blouses made from soft fabrics in rich colors, very girlie and romantic. So the collection is still within the spirit of Levi’s, but with a twist!
I was also impressed by the Commuter series for men. It’s a collection for the urban cyclist. So no more lycra pants guys! Now you can ride your bikes in stylish Levi’s jeans and you will not get soaked if it rains (they are waterproof), or feel uncomfortable on the saddle. This series is designed to provide functionality, comfort and of course style!
At the event there was also a live performance by singer Panayotis Tsakalakos, winner of Greek Idol 2011 and a party afterwards, with finger food and cocktails!

The Commuter series

Levi's Brand Marketing Manager for Eastern Europe and Greece, Justyna Goscinska, and me

Elena Ioannidou from Concept Communication Strategies and me

Cheers!!!
