A whole year has come to an end. It’s frightening how fast time goes by and how many things change within that time. Things that you thought will remain the same and yet they don’t. Sometimes for the better, other times for worse. This year has gone by, leaving me some bad memories, the most important one being the loss of my beloved Chewy. He was such a loving cat and the poor thing lived a short life. At least I know I gave him all my love ...
Anyway, in a few hours the new year will be here, and I hope it will only bring happiness for all of us.
This is my last outfit for 2010 and now it’s a good time to thank you all once more for stopping by every day and leaving me your sweet comments. One of my new year resolutions is to do my best to keep this blog going and to put a lot more effort into making it a great fashion blog. I love doing this and most of all I enjoy “meeting” all of you wonderful people. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!

A photo of me with sweet Chewy, taken 2 years ago. Unfortunately the flash made his gorgeous eyes red, but you can still see how beautiful he was, my poor baby!
I hope you all have a lovely new year’s eve, with all your loved ones around you.

I’m sure that you are very intrigued by the title, aren’t you?! Well, I am cheating a little bit today because my photos will only show half of my outfit. The reason for that is because the other half is just a pair of jeans and boots so what’s there to see? What I'm showing today is just a simple knit jumper from the H&M Holiday 2010 collection, at the bargain price of €9,95!
I know that my last few posts are not so great (fashion and photography wise) and that I could really do much much better. But I feel a bit tired. I think it’s the end-of-the-year-depression syndrome! It’ll pass as soon as the 10 becomes 11. It will be a new era, I can feel it!!!
Loulou says: "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the furiest of them all? Is it me or is it this awful faux fur jacket?"! lol

How do you feel about this year coming to an end? What do you expect/wish for the new year to bring?

Busy day today and although I have a party invitation for tonight I don’t think I’m going to make it. I think I’m turning into a couch potato lately (or just plain potato, haha)!
Last night I saw a magnificent movie, Changeling with Angelina Jolie. You know I love the 20’s, so I admired her style and beauty, as well as the photography and costumes. I’ve been obsessed with that era lately, having also watched the “Boardwalk Empire” which was a TV series for HBO, directed by the great Martin Scorsese. I’d give anything to do the make up for a similar movie or TV show!

Have you seen any good movies lately? And if you know of any movies/tv shows that deal with past decades, I’d love to hear about them...

As I told you in my previous post, I had to meet my (summer) friends at a Cretan restaurant. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. Being born in Crete and bred with the original cretan food (my grandmother was a terrific cook) I have very high expectations when it comes to this cuisine. I have yet to find a restaurant that serves good and authentic cretan food in Athens. And last night’s was no exception. The portions were extremely small and it didn’t taste like the original thing. If you have been to Crete you should know that you never leave a restaurant half full or disappointed. Everything is delicious and at reasonable prices. At least everywhere I have been in Chania, where I have spent every single summer of my life.
Anyway, I was so put off by the food that I forgot to take pictures while I was there, so when I got back I took a few in my house. Loulou was constantly attacking the tripod so I grabbed her and put her in the picture too!

I also dyed my hair (at home). The color turned out a bit darker than I expected and it has red hues, but I like it. What do you think?

Christmas day is coming to an end soon and it’s been lovely. We had a family gathering and ate tons of food (well, at least I did), played board games, listened to Christmas songs and laughed. My photos today are not so fashionable and artistic, but it’s Christmas and we had guests! I think I’m overeating lately and I have to start dieting soon because otherwise I’m going to end up like the stuffed turkey I ate!!!

I went shopping for Xmas presents today and although it was at the very last minute I’m happy to say I found what I was looking for. I got a little something for my family and friends and I also got a little gift for me. The day wasn’t very good though because my brother had a small accident with his motorcycle and hurt his hand and leg. Thank God he only had minor injuries (nothing broken), but I can’t say the same about the (brand new) motorcycle, that needs to be repaired!
Anyway, I can’t wait for this year to end. It has been a very difficult year for me and I am anxious for the new year to come, along with new things and new people!
I had this belt made out of an old Moschino bag's straps. It turned out like the small version of the classic Moschino logo belt!

This is what I got for myself. One of the Korres sets, that costs only 11,70€! I'm wearing the lipgloss in the photos above...
Are you doing something tonight? Have a wonderful time whatever you do and I wish you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!
