This is not a time to bare my legs, not even with opaque tights or leggings. It’s still too cold for that so I chose to wear my red dress with a pair of warm wool trousers and create an interesting outfit (imo). I love red with brown with a hint of gold from the accessories.
I think I should try to experiment a little more with my hairstyle, starting today with a bun that’s a little different from the one I usually do. It looks a lot like
Susie Bubble’s trademark hairstyle, doesn’t it?! I wish my hair were the same length as Susie’s...

Coat: Vintage
Trousers: Artisti Italiani
Dress and shoes: Zara
Rings: ebay
Necklace: bought locally

Face: Korres watermelon oil free tinted moisturizer SPF 30, Benefit booing concealer, Mac mineralize skin finish natural
Eyes: Coastal scents 26 color palette, Korres black eyeliner, Max Factor masterpiece max mascara in black/brown
Cheeks: Elf contouring blush and bronzing powder
Lips: Korres mango butter lipstick in pink, Art Deco lipliner No25
Nail polish: OPI baguette me not, with a random glitter polish on top

Do you experiment with different hairstyles or do you find yourself repeating the same (old) hairstyle that you always do?

I mixed a few patterns in today’s outfit but these patterns are so subtle that from a distance are barely noticeable. Except from the sweater’s fair isle pattern that stands out, the trousers have a very small plaid pattern and the shirt has vertical stripes which are in a light blue color. Mixing patterns can be disastrous if we’re not careful. However, with subtle patterns like these you can’t go wrong, especially in tones of grey or neutral colors...

Knit sweater: H&M
Shirt and shoes: Zara
Trousers: Artisti Italiani
Leather trench: unknown brand
Suede gloves: gifted

Face: Avon Ideal Shade Cream-to-Powder Foundation, Benefit booing concealer
Eyes: Grimas highlight e/s, Mac omega and quarry e/s, Korres black eyeliner, Max Factor masterpiece max mascara in black/brown

Lips: Korres cherry lipgloss in coral

We’ve seen some street styles with rather extravagant mixing of patterns and textures (especially during Fashion Week). Do you like that or do you think it’s only suitable for fashion editorials?

Today was another busy day, and the weekend is going to be just the same. But tonight I’m visiting some friends because I really need to have a break and spend a nice evening chatting and/or playing board games. This is the outfit I’m going to wear and maybe even add a pair of tights underneath my jeans cause it’s coooold outside (and even colder where I’m going).

I have been awarded by the fabulous Purdey of Kittenish Behaviour with the Stylish Blogger Award and it was so sweet of her. If you don’t know her blog you should definitely check it out. Her posts are always fun to read, especially her date -disaster- stories and you won’t catch her wearing the same thing over and over because she has a large collection of beautiful and colorful clothes and shoes!

So, before I pass the award to 5 stylish bloggers, here are
8 things about me:
  1. I love sports cars. I used to be in car clubs, hanging out with guys (mostly) who have the same car as me and we went for road trips and talked about cars all the time. I have also worked in car magazines and even wrote a few articles in them. I used to love speed but I’ve been in a couple of accidents and that shook me enough to drive more sensibly now.
  2. My most important flaws are being impatient, impulsive and easily bored!
  3. My first real and long relationship was when I was 21 with a greek boy who was studying in Plymouth. He was at the beginning of his final year and I went to visit him for a few days and ended up staying with him for the whole year! My father was furious!
  4. I have a fear of heights.
  5. Besides studying professional make up, I’ve also studied Dietetics and I did a 3 year distance learning course for a degree in Law (which would take another 3 years to graduate).
  6. When I finished high school I wanted to be an actress. I still do!
  7. I have stage fright. When I’m on a stage I feel like fainting, my palms get sweaty and my heart beats fast. But that doesn’t stop me from wanting to be on a stage. The applauding after a performance is priceless!
  8. I used to dance Tango Argentino and I will never forget the first time I danced with my eyes shut. My dance teacher, who was formerly a ballet dancer, asked me to dance with him and told me to shut my eyes. I was reluctant at first, but when I did it, it was the most liberating, magical and heavenly experience I’ve ever had!
And now, I pass the award on to:
By my heels: The gorgeous Lara is a very stylish blogger from Spain. Her outfits are always amazing and being a former model she really knows how to look beautiful!
Despite color: Iben is a very sweet girl from Norway with Greek roots. She has a good eye for fashion and always a nice thing to comment.
Glossy's Wardrobe: Tally's new fashion blog (she has also a very popular Beauty blog) is all about her hauls, her outfits and about what she likes. She's a gorgeous looking girl that could easily be a model and is also kind hearted and sweet. Oh, and I envy her bag collection!
Fashion algorithms: Katerina is my favorite Greek blogger. I like her sense of style and the fact that she has always something nice to say.
Mes choix, mes envies, et mes chaussures.........: Agnès is such a lovely person, a shoeaholic like me, with a wonderful taste in shoes!

And this is today's outfit:

Dress: Artisti Italiani
Tights: H&M
Shoes: SoYouShoes
Necklaces: vintage and H&M

Eyes: Coastal scents 26 color palette, NYX baby pink e/s, Korres black eyeliner, Estée Lauder sumptuous mascara
Cheeks: Elf contouring blush and bronzing powder
Lips: Kryolan lipshine circle

I can't wait to read the 8 things my stylish bloggers will write about themselves!

They are warm and they are stylish. Hats can accessorize an outfit and add some sophistication to a look. I prefer floppy hats with long hair, worn in a more boho way. But until my hair grows long I’ll have to wear it like this.
Anyway, about the hat, it’s very old but still so elegant and fashionable. My mother used to wear it when she was living in England with my father (before I was even born). I have worn it on a trip to Amsterdam and I got many compliments on the streets, by strangers! It felt so nice...

Knit cardigan: Vintage
Trousers: Artisti Italiani
Ankle Boots: Casadei
Scarf: bought locally
Hat: Vintage

Face: Elf complexion perfection
Eyes: Korres black eyeliner, Estée Lauder sumptuous mascara
Cheeks: Elf contouring blush and bronzing powder
Lips: Art Deco lipliner No25, NYX lipstick in Chaos

I’ve been considering buying some hair extensions (clip-ins), what do you think? Should I try them or they are way too fake looking?

...because it’s coooold today! I had a lot to do today because I’m helping my mum prepare her dinner party for tonight, so no time for make up. This is what I wore to go out and get a few things we needed and I froze! Good thing I wore a warm hat. So, it’s finally time to bring out some cosy knits, well until the temperature goes up again!
I look terrible without make up, I know, but I didn’t want to “behead” my pics, it seemed a silly thing to do!

Top: Zara
Denim jacket: Mango
Trousers: Artisti Italiani
Boots: Rose noir (italian brand)
Hat: Ahileas accessories (greek shop)
Pendant: old, my grandmother bought it from Egypt
Ring: bought locally (there is a clock under the white stone)
Gloves: Zara
Bag: H&M
Fake fur collar: DIY (bought the fur and cut it)

What are your plans for tonight and for the weekend?

I saw this lace skirt in my mom’s closet and I felt the need to put together an outfit with it. It’s not my size (it’s large), but I used a thin belt and cinched it at my waist. This skirt is paired with a lace blazer you saw me wearing at the Athens Exclusive Designers week here (with the same shoes). But I never wear suits, they make look like a spinster! LOL! I’d rather wear each piece separately and style it in many different ways!
Of course I wouldn’t wear this outfit in the daytime, at least not in this country! But I prefer to shoot my pics with the daylight for better quality. Unfortunately, due to the awful wind, I had to take my pics indoors (see my hair floating at the first pic? that’s why!).

Shirt: Zara
Skirt: Sofos
Shoes: New Look
Belt: Artisti Italiani
Necklace: vintage

As for Make up, I’m only wearing Stila major lash mascara in brown, Elf contouring blush and bronzing powder on my cheeks and on my lips La Roche-Posay lip pencil in rouge pur with a red Elizabeth Arden lipstick (the number has faded). I love the nude face - bright/bold lipstick look!

What lipstick are you wearing now?

I have two outfits for you today. I was a busy bee yesterday and I wore 2 different outfits, so I though I could post them together. My camera is crappy at the night shots, but bear with me, I will get a DSLR...eventually! I should stop spending all my money in clothes and invest in a good camera, for the sake of this blog. But I can’t help it. The sirens of online shops keep calling my name... (this means I’ve made more online purchases, so stay tuned!!!).
Oh, and a few words about my leather jacket. It belonged to my mother and she was wearing it even after she had me and my brother. She was so incredibly thin. I weigh around 50kg and this jacket is small for me (I can’t wear it buttoned up). But at least it fits on the shoulders and arms, so I wear it, because it’s a beautiful piece.

Morning outfit:

Leather jacket: vintage
Knit turtle neck: Zara
Trousers: Artisti Italiani
Boots: Zara
Belt: vintage

Evening outfit:

All items are from Zara except the bag (H&M)

Eyes: Coastal Scents 26 color palette, Bourjois black eyeliner, Benefit badgal lash mascara
Cheeks: Elf contouring blush and bronzing powder
Lips: Kryolan lipshine circle

Do you wear your mom’s or sister’s old/new clothes?

I can’t remember exactly how long ago I bought these Miu Miu shoes, but I’m guessing it must have been 4 or 5 years at least. I can vaguely recall Pearl Lowe wearing the same ones in a bright fuchsia color at a magazine photo shoot and the moment I saw them I had to get them! I got them in sale but they were still pretty expensive. Ah, I miss those days when I could afford a designer splurge every once in a while...
Anyway, I don’t know why, but I haven’t worn these amazing shoes more than 2-3 times and I recently rediscovered them while rearranging my closet. I guess it was the “save them for a special occasion” syndrome, but now I’ve decided to start wearing them more often. I think their design will never go out of fashion, but even if it does, I don’t care! I’m still going to wear them cause I like them (and they’re Miu Miu)!!!

Knit: United Colors of Benetton
Belt: Artisti Italiani
Trousers: vintage, tailor made
Shoes: Miu Miu

Face: Korres watermelon oil free tinted moisturizer SPF 30, Nivea perfect cover concealer, Mac mineralize skin finish natural
Eyes: Elisabeth Arden palette, Bourjois black eyeliner, Benefit badgal lash mascara
Cheeks: Elf contouring blush and bronzing powder

Have you rediscovered any gems in your closet?
