Tassos Sofroniou has been working in the fashion industry for the past 20 years as a stylist, photographer, creative director and tv presenter. He created his own menswear fashion label, Conquistador which was first launched in September 2010. The label’s spring summer 2012 collection was presented last night at the 10th Athens Xclusive Designers Week and it was it’s first runway show. The room was super packed with people and the collection received a very warm welcome.
The collection had a certain “militaire” vibe, without being too obvious about it. I loved the low rise tapered and the leather paneled pants, worn by some amazingly sculpted male models. I am not too fond of the skirt (with underlying shorts) thingy, but I guess that’s a matter of personal taste and preference. And since it was the label's first runway show...break a leg!

Not so sure about this collection. Hate men in skirt unless its a scottish kilt!
ReplyDeleteI had prepared a nasty comment for this collection but decided not to publish it... But I'll say it in a more gentle manner: it's that I don't think that any woman would be turned on by these outfits... if you know what I mean :)))
ReplyDeleteI don't like men in skirts either. Even kilts look weird to me, but at least that is something traditional! xx
ReplyDeleteHaha, yes I know. Maybe that's why there were models with such amazing bodies, to distract the women from the clothes!!! ;))
ReplyDeleteTo ALL you H8ers out there...I LOVED IT !!! Very cool & very Rock & Roll !!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know who you are reffering to, but I'm not a hater. Otherwise I wouldn't be posting it on my blog!
