I hate cloudy days, they make me feel depressed. I have a friend from England who is a Barrister and he has a great sense of humor. I love his wit and british accent! I’m mentioning this because sometime last year we were exchanging emails and I was furious about the situation in my country with the strikes and all the garbage everywhere and the general chaos (which is still pretty much the same actually) and I went on and on, writing about 2 or 3 paragraphs about my frustration. He replied with 4 little words: “But you have sun”!!!
I laughed so much when I got his email and he was right. Sun does make up for a lot of the annoying things that happen here. I couldn’t imagine living in a place that is cloudy and rainy all the time!

Tonight I’m going to a lovely restaurant with Cretan cuisine. I’ll be meeting my friends from this year’s summer vacations (in Crete) and I’m sure we’ll have lots of fun and...lots of raki!
