Purple rain!

I love this song by Prince and I love purple color. The highlight of this post is my nail color around which I based my whole outfit. It usually goes the other way around, but I don’t always go by the rules! I did a simple nail design using a purple color by Avon (arabian glow in purple passion) and then applying a Zoya polish (casey) at the tip, making some random lines with a toothpick before it dried. I would do nail designs more frequently if only I wasn’t so impatient when it comes to waiting for nail polish to dry!
Tomorrow will be a difficult day as far as public transport is concerned (all the public means of transport are on strike), so I will run some errands in the nearby area, on foot. I hate being stuck in traffic!

Heavy metal!

I just got back from doing some lifting and cleaning (can’t say why and where just yet!), so my outfit today had to be simple and casual, because you can’t do this kind of work with heels, can you?! Same goes for make up.
I’m wearing a T-shirt that was given to me (because I love skulls for some reason), by a friend who listens to heavy metal and these Totenkopf guys are a real heavy metal band. Which of course I have never heard of, because I’m more of a jazz/soul/light rock kind of gal!
