This is not a time to bare my legs, not even with opaque tights or leggings. It’s still too cold for that so I chose to wear my red dress with a pair of warm wool trousers and create an interesting outfit (imo). I love red with brown with a hint of gold from the accessories.
I think I should try to experiment a little more with my hairstyle, starting today with a bun that’s a little different from the one I usually do. It looks a lot like
Susie Bubble’s trademark hairstyle, doesn’t it?! I wish my hair were the same length as Susie’s...

I suppose you remember Woody Allen’s film, but even if you don’t I’m sure you are familiar with Diane Keaton and her iconic style. Long flared pants with men’s button down shirt, a waistcoat and a super long tie. That was one of her signature looks which has inspired many stylists and fashionistas. Including me, whereas I added a few feminine elements here and there.
With spring approaching, when the 70’s trend will be at it’s peak, I ‘d like to do more “Inspired” looks, especially from films or tv shows like “Charlie’s angels”, “American Gigolo”, etc.

I think I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: I love equestrian style! I was watching Mad Men again last night and I saw Mrs Draper in her equestrian outfit (how elegant and beautiful she is!) and I remembered buying this pair of trousers a while back. I have worn it a few times, getting the usual and unimaginative comment “where did you park your horse”!
But I don’t care! In this country, where staring and making (rude) comments about someone’s style and looks is considered acceptable, you have to be thick skinned. Unless you just want to disappear into the crowd and not have your own personal style. Which is not the case for me!

All items are from Zara, except from the Ring (ebay) and the Shoes (Boohoo)
