Thursday night, ABSOLUT Vodka in conjuction with three Greek fashion designers, Stelios Koudounaris, Sotiris Georgiou and Digitaria, presented a fashion event at Dream City club in Athens. The occasion being the launch of ABSOLUT's limited edition bottle "Absolut Mode", the three designers presented parts of their collections through the reflections of Absolut Mode. It was a multimedia fashion performance, staged by Memi Koupa under the DJ's Apostolos Mitropoulos chosen tunes.
Due to picture overload, I've split the post in two parts.
I will start by Stelios Koudounaris collection, which impressed me once again. I loved all the dresses and the way they were presented. The models started with the usual walk down the runway (but in a rather fast pace) and at the end they all appeared wearing the beautiful maxi see-through dress and carrying roughly-cut mirrors in their hands, which they waved in front of all of us. It was very impressive as the mirrors reflected the spot lights and various images from the audience and the models.

I LOVE this dress!!!

Gorgeous jacket!!!

Model Elli Lianou and me

Me and Emelia from The sugar plum fairy
Mac did the make up for this fashion event (and my make up is also all Mac!).
Stay tuned for the second part with the rest of the designers...

I bought this dress last summer and never actually wore it (it’s a dress worn as a top). The puffy shoulders remind me of Alexis Colby’s style. Remember the show Dynasty? I loved watching it mostly because I thought that my parents looked a lot like Crystal and Blake. Come to think of it, they did (minus the huge mansion and the companies, lol).
Today I had so much to do at home and I feel extremely tired, I’m surprised I had the courage to do all this. And tomorrow is going to be just the same, but I also have another “back to back” outfit in mind. The good thing is that my brother loves these themes so he doesn’t mind photographing me!

Dress (worn as top): Boohoo
Trousers: Vintage
Belt: Vassilios Kostetsos
Bag: Vintage Pierre Cardin
Shoes: Bershka
Hat: Vintage

Face: Rainbow matt finish make up, Benefit booing concealer, Elf HD powder
Eyes: Sleek storm palette, Korres black eyeliner, Radiant white eyeliner, Estée Lauder sumptuous mascara
Cheeks: NYX blush in espresso
Lips: Rainbow lipstick No196, La Roche Posay lipliner in rouge pur, Carlo di Roma gloss No27

Do you like these “themed” outfits? Is there something in particular you’d like to see from me?

As I told you in my previous post, I had to meet my (summer) friends at a Cretan restaurant. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. Being born in Crete and bred with the original cretan food (my grandmother was a terrific cook) I have very high expectations when it comes to this cuisine. I have yet to find a restaurant that serves good and authentic cretan food in Athens. And last night’s was no exception. The portions were extremely small and it didn’t taste like the original thing. If you have been to Crete you should know that you never leave a restaurant half full or disappointed. Everything is delicious and at reasonable prices. At least everywhere I have been in Chania, where I have spent every single summer of my life.
Anyway, I was so put off by the food that I forgot to take pictures while I was there, so when I got back I took a few in my house. Loulou was constantly attacking the tripod so I grabbed her and put her in the picture too!

Dress: Zara
Shoes: Bershka
Jeans: Gas
Earrings: bought locally
Clutch: Vintage Pierre Cardin

Face: Rainbow matt finish make up, Benefit booing concealer, Mac mineralize skin finish natural
Eyes: Coastal scents 26 color palette, Sleek bohemian palette, Korres black eyeliner, Estée Lauder sumptuous mascara
Cheeks: Elf contouring blush and bronzing powder
Lips: Elf super glossy lipshine

I also dyed my hair (at home). The color turned out a bit darker than I expected and it has red hues, but I like it. What do you think?

Last night I was supposed to watch a fashion show and take some photos for my blog, but there was a mix up with the invitations and I ended up standing behind lots of people and not being able to approach the catwalk and take some good shots. So there will only be one model in this post: Moi! I couldn’t even take my outfit pics there, so my beloved brother took care of it by photographing me at home!
Nevertheless, I managed to have fun and meet some nice people at the show. I’m a positive person and try to get the most of every situation!
I was supposed to wear one of my new purchases last night, but I changed my mind at the last minute and wore my red patent pumps instead. I’m still not sure weather I should keep the gorgeous platform pumps I got, they’re too big! But I like them soooo much! Ah, decisions, decisions!

What would you do if you got something online and it was the wrong size? (and if you could not return it)
