The photos came out blurry again today due to my friend’s shaky hands (I guess)! It was cold again today and I remember saying how happy I am that spring is finally here (2 days ago). I’d say I jinxed it, but I don’t think that’s possible! I do hope these are the last cold days we’ll have until next winter. I got a new pair of wedges and a casual maxi dress and I’m dying to wear them!

Have you bought any spring/summer pieces yet?

I came across a video by H&M today (via their i-phone app) about jeans and why people love wearing them. Most of the people that were interviewed said the same thing: “they go with everything”! That’s so true. You can take a pair of jeans, or denim shorts or a denim skirt and you can make zillions different combinations and create outfits for day or night. You wouldn’t wear jeans to a wedding or a job interview of course, but it can be a very safe choice for several other occasions.

In the past few posts I’m just recycling items that you’ve already seen and I guess that may be boring for you, but with this cold I’m so uninspired! Now that I think of it, there are some pieces that I bought on sales and still haven’t worn. OK, tomorrow there will be something new. Promise!

Oh I feel so bad about today’s photos. They’re not nearly as good as in yesterday’s post, but unfortunately I can’t have my brother at my disposal every day! And I’m so sick of this cold. I spend a ridiculous amount of time everyday trying to figure out what to wear (that can be stylish and warm at the same time). I regret not buying a couple of warm faux fur coats when I had the chance, but it’s too late now. I will (hopefully) soon be starting to buy from the spring collections. That is as soon as the weather gets warmer, because until then, I can’t even look at spring clothing without feeling cold! OK, I’m exaggerating, I know! ;)

Do you buy spring/summer clothes when it’s still cold?

I thought this weekend would be more relaxing but I was wrong. I have lots of things to care of, that had been put off due to work commitments and I’ve started by cleaning my house and tidying up my room. I don’t realize how many clothes I have until I see them piled up on my bed while the closet is still full! (Just don’t tell my mum that, lol). Tonight I’m going out for dinner and drinks and will most probably wear my new peep toe ankle boots from Linzy shoes, with a pair of shorts, a top and jacket. I’m afraid I’m going to freeze but I don’t care!

It’s funny how some clothes or accessories have a history of their own. This tartan scarf is almost as old as I am and I can’t even remember if I ever wore it when I was little. The only thing I remember about it is that we used it to cover the piano keys (I used to take piano lessons when I was a kid). I don’t know why the poor scarf had been condemned to such a fate! When we gave the piano away I decided to keep the scarf and have been saving it in my closet ever since. I think it was about time that little old scarf saw the light of day...

Today I was in such a hurry that I didn’t place my tripod correctly, so I cut off a bit of hair here and a bit of shoe there, lol!

They are warm and they are stylish. Hats can accessorize an outfit and add some sophistication to a look. I prefer floppy hats with long hair, worn in a more boho way. But until my hair grows long I’ll have to wear it like this.
Anyway, about the hat, it’s very old but still so elegant and fashionable. My mother used to wear it when she was living in England with my father (before I was even born). I have worn it on a trip to Amsterdam and I got many compliments on the streets, by strangers! It felt so nice...

Knit cardigan: Vintage

I’ve been considering buying some hair extensions (clip-ins), what do you think? Should I try them or they are way too fake looking?

A whole year has come to an end. It’s frightening how fast time goes by and how many things change within that time. Things that you thought will remain the same and yet they don’t. Sometimes for the better, other times for worse. This year has gone by, leaving me some bad memories, the most important one being the loss of my beloved Chewy. He was such a loving cat and the poor thing lived a short life. At least I know I gave him all my love ...

Anyway, in a few hours the new year will be here, and I hope it will only bring happiness for all of us.
This is my last outfit for 2010 and now it’s a good time to thank you all once more for stopping by every day and leaving me your sweet comments. One of my new year resolutions is to do my best to keep this blog going and to put a lot more effort into making it a great fashion blog. I love doing this and most of all I enjoy “meeting” all of you wonderful people. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!

A photo of me with sweet Chewy, taken 2 years ago. Unfortunately the flash made his gorgeous eyes red, but you can still see how beautiful he was, my poor baby!

I hope you all have a lovely new year’s eve, with all your loved ones around you.

I went shopping for Xmas presents today and although it was at the very last minute I’m happy to say I found what I was looking for. I got a little something for my family and friends and I also got a little gift for me. The day wasn’t very good though because my brother had a small accident with his motorcycle and hurt his hand and leg. Thank God he only had minor injuries (nothing broken), but I can’t say the same about the (brand new) motorcycle, that needs to be repaired!
Anyway, I can’t wait for this year to end. It has been a very difficult year for me and I am anxious for the new year to come, along with new things and new people!

I had this belt made out of an old Moschino bag's straps. It turned out like the small version of the classic Moschino logo belt!

Knit dress: bought locally, unknown brand
Shoes: Casadei
Belt: Moschino
Coat: Miss Raxevsky
Ring: bought locally

This is what I got for myself. One of the Korres sets, that costs only 11,70€! I'm wearing the lipgloss in the photos above...

Are you doing something tonight? Have a wonderful time whatever you do and I wish you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I rediscovered this really old fake fur jacket, which I remember buying when we still had drachmas! That’s more than 8 years ago. I’m glad I held on to it, although I must say it is not a very practical jacket because it doesn’t have any buttons. Should I add some, what do you think?

Christmas is almost here, so what are your plans for the holidays?

This was the name of an old Men’s clothing store in Piraeus and it’s actually an anagrammatism of “Dorian Gray”, one of my favorite novels (The picture of Dorian Gray) by Oscar Wilde. And why is Dorian Gray relevant to this post? Well, he’s not really, but when I think of the color grey, I think of Dorian Gray! Disturbed mind, I know, haha!!!
