It was definitely NOT a good day to wear shorts, but I did anyway. Needless to say that my legs were shivering from the cold (as well as the rest of my body parts)!
It’s the second time I’m wearing my Office boots and although their heel is very high and quite thin, they feel very comfortable and are easy to walk in. But I will have to replace their heel taps because they make so much noise and they feel a bit flimsy...

No question tonight. I would just like to thank you for your helpful advice and comments on my “Penguin chic” post and tell you that I already feel much better and that my “appetite” for blog reading and posting has returned! And it’s good to know that if I miss a day you’ll understand...

Denim on denim used to be a fashion faut pas, but not anymore. The trend has started since last spring and is still on, at least until further notice! It seemed very appropriate to wear with my new faux fur vest and gave the outfit a “cowgirl” feel.
Last night I went for dinner with friends and we really enjoyed it. Remember my last Cretan cuisine disaster at a not-so-traditional tavern? Well, this time we went to one that was very close to the real thing and the food was delicious (andI ate tons of it)!

Do you go by the book with the fashion faut pas (which are usually retracted at one point or another)?

It’s not easy to be elegant and stylish in cold weather and I have to admit that wearing heavy clothing is not my thing. Thank God for layering, a fashionista’s only hope of creating a stylish outfit while managing to stay warm. I didn’t do anything groundbreaking today, just a classic button shirt-cardi combo, with a some teal accessories to make it more interesting. It wasn’t the warmest outfit for this weather, but again I’m always cold, no matter how many clothes I wear. What can I say, I’m a summer person!

I’m wearing a new pair of trousers and a necklace I bought on sales. The trousers are exactly what I needed. I like wearing slim fitting pants and I do wear leggings very often, but leggings can only be worn with something long on top. Whereas the pair I got is of a thicker material and it can be worn with a shorter and more fitting top, without looking trashy! The necklace was only 2€ from Bershka and I love it!

Also, my fellow greek blogger, the lovely Artemi from

So, this is the award:

I discovered this long forgotten D&G knit in my closet, which is beautiful but not very practical. It has a lovely see through front with butterfly patterns and the rest of it (back, sleeves and super long turtle neck) is knit. That alone, makes it difficult to wear, because I’m not very keen on showing my bra in the middle of the day so I have to wear something to underneath it. I was lucky enough to find a similar colored sleeveless top , but still, it’s not exactly a winter knit, even though it keeps my arms, back and neck warm, I can’t say the same for my chest! Anyway, fashion is not meant to be practical at all times and I’m not one to really care for practicality!

Velvet jacket: Vintage
Knit: D&G
Jeans: Boohoo
Ankle boots: D&G
Ring: bought locally

Face: Korres Wild Rose foundation, Nivea perfect cover concealer, Elf complexion perfection
Eyes: Coastal Scents 26 color palette, Bourjois black eyeliner, Mac zoom lash mascara

Do you buy only practical clothing/shoes? Do you mind if something gives you a bit of a hard time when you wear it?

I got a new Parka and I absolutely adore it. I’ve never owned a parka before and I’ve always wanted one. It’s a utility piece and goes with practically everything. I had a lot of outfit ideas already in my mind way before buying one, but when I saw this look in the Gap fall 2010 lookbook, I thought it was the perfect way to wear it for the first time:

(source: http://healthy-cosmetics.com/?p=425)

Here’s my interpretation of the look:

Denim shirt: D&G
Leggings: Tally Weijl
Parka: Boohoo
Bag: Aslanis (Greek designer)
Belt: old (my brother’s)
Shoes: Unkwown brand

About the (new) shoes, I don’t know if I would recommend this site (it's an Asian online shop). I got two pairs of shoes and one of them turned out to be a bit small (even though they’re both the same size) and the quality is very low. You see some lovely pics in the site and they have a large variety of shoes and clothes, but what you see is not what you get in terms of quality! So bear that in mind...

Oh, and as you can see I’m not wearing any make up. So, in case you were wondering, this is how I am when I wake up in the morning (minus the sunglasses, lol!)!!!

Today I got two of my latest online purchases in the mail and I was soooo excited! I’m not going to show you anything yet, I prefer to show you everything on me, on my outfit posts. My only disappointment was the sizing of the shoes again. I got 2 pairs of shoes, from 2 different sites and they turned out to be a bit big. I’ve come to the conclusion that I must be a size 5.5 (in UK shops), because 6 is a bit big and 5 is usually small. But they don’t make half sizes so I’ll have to wear my shoes with insoles. Bummer! I’m going to wear one of them tonight so you’ll see them in tomorrow’s post. Till then, I leave you with today’s outfit...

Top: Zara
Trousers: Tally Weijl
Shoes: D&G

Eyes: NYX white e/s, Sleek original palette, Bourjois cafe/creme eyeliner, Avon super extend mascara
Cheeks: Elf contouring blush and bronzing powder
Lips: Avon lipstick in golden peach

I know I’m wearing stuff you’ve seen before, but we should recycle our clothes, shouldn’t we?!
